Contract | 14 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 Shifts per Week | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Float to all acute care units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management
- Adhere to unit scheduling requirements, including holiday coverage — travelers are required to work one holiday from each group: Thanksgiving Day or Black Friday | Christmas Eve or Christmas Day | New Year's Eve or New Year's Day
- Participate in a structured multi-day orientation program, including on-site and virtual training components
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in a hospital setting with Orthopedic & Spine experience
- Active Kansas RN License or Compact RN License
- BLS Certification required
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
- Must comply with a nicotine-free facility policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Telemetry unit
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
- Experience floating across multiple acute care units
