Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Mid Shift (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced freestanding emergency department with an expected patient ratio of 3:1 (low acuity up to 5:1; pediatrics managed via team nursing)
• Perform IV starts and medication administration, including sedations and pediatric cases
• Scan patients and medications consistently in accordance with unit expectations
• Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, and midlevel providers within a structured pod-based staffing model
• Utilize Alaris equipment and document within the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience
• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
• BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Prior travel nursing experience or experience in a large facility emergency department

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Prior travel assignments or experience at facilities larger than 52 beds
