Travel RN – Telemetry (Night Shift)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 37-bed Intermediate Care / Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:6 (1:4 for Heart Cath patients)
- Monitor and manage patients on telemetry, including those recovering from Heart Cath procedures and bubble studies
- Operate and manage equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
- Assist with and oversee central line care and medication drips
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Patient Care Techs and Unit Clerks
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid for practice in Kansas
- Minimum 1 year of hospital Telemetry experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Experience with Heart Cath recovery and bubble studies
