Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Shift start times vary (3:00 AM / 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM / 11:00 PM) | Primarily days or primarily nights; advance notice of one week or more expected when schedule changes occur | Every other weekend required | On-call required if shift is cancelled | 48-hour shifts available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting with expected patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:3
• Manage and care for High Risk OB patients, requiring advanced clinical competency
• Float to Postpartum and High Risk Antepartum units based on unit needs
• Float to sister facilities within the regional network as needed based on staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• High Risk OB experience required
• Ability to float to Postpartum and High Risk Antepartum units
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (local candidates may be considered at an adjusted rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs/Leads accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Flexibility to adapt to varying shift start times and floating assignments across multiple facilities
