Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Open to 4x12 or 3x16 (48-hour) configurations

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Participate as part of a Resource Float Pool — primarily assigned to one campus but may float to a secondary campus as needed; scheduling location communicated in advance
• Float within scope to other units across campuses to meet facility staffing needs
• Fulfill on-call obligations, including coverage requirements for holidays; one of the following is required per 6-week period: 2 on-call shifts OR 2 additional shifts
• Complete weekend shifts as needed per facility scheduling
• Pass a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and Medication Test on the first day of orientation — one attempt allowed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in South Carolina or a pending license (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; 2 years preferred and reviewed on a case-by-case basis
• Must be able to pass a facility fit test; shaving may be required to meet fit testing requirements on site
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission — time-off requests made after submission will not be considered
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Prior telemetry or cardiac monitoring experience
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
