Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting during night shifts
- Expected to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays per contract
- Expected to work 3 weekends per six-week schedule
- May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
- Complete specialty-specific orientation modules during onboarding as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia; pending VA license accepted (must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursys verification required at time of submission
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted for this unit)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
- BSN preferred
