Contract | 12-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Variable Shifts (8s and 12s) | Midshift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) with one 12-hour overnight shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) per week | Every other weekend | Every other holiday | 40 guaranteed hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting
- Manage and administer medications in coordination with medication aides, maintaining a patient ratio of up to 30:1 with 2 med aides or 15:1
- Monitor and care for residents with mild dementia and bariatric needs
- Document patient care accurately using the Matrix Point of Care EMR system
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN or LVN license valid in the state of North Dakota
- Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Ability to fulfill variable shift requirements including both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience caring for patients with mild dementia
- Experience with bariatric patient care
- Familiarity with Matrix Point of Care or similar EMR platforms
