Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Support patients in regaining or developing skills needed for daily living and working.
• Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
• Help ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient care.
• Follow established protocols and safety guidelines during therapy sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
• State license or registration to practice as an OTA in Illinois.
• Basic knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient care procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a healthcare or therapy setting.
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
