Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrophysiology nursing care including pre-procedure and post-procedure care for admission and recovery
- Assist with cardiac ablation procedures including A-FIB, A-Flutter, SVT, and PFA
- Support device placement procedures including pacemakers, CRTs, MICRAs, and ILRs
- Utilize mapping and navigation systems during EP procedures
- Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems
- May be required to work across multiple facilities within the central region
Required Qualifications
- Active Connecticut RN license
- Electrophysiology experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with cardiac ablations and cardiac device placement
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Experience with CARTO and Claris mapping systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume EP lab setting
- Familiarity with a broad range of electrophysiology procedures and technologies
