Registered Nurse – ICU/PCU

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights – 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend and holidays as needed | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a dual level-of-care unit supporting telemetry, PCU, and ICU overflow patients
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with chest pain, stroke, respiratory failure, and sepsis
• Maintain expected nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5–6 on the floor, 1:3 for PCU, and 1:2 for ICU
• Function within a 25-bed unit that also serves as a primary stroke center
• Accurately document patient care and assessments using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• PCU experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a dual level-of-care or combined ICU/PCU environment
• Experience in a stroke center or with neurological patient populations
