Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 18:45–07:15) | 13–26 Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric Medical/Surgical patients within a unit census of approximately 43 patients
• Administer and manage insulin drips, heparin drips, and high-flow oxygen therapy
• Perform wound vac dressing changes and support patients requiring short-term BiPAP with respiratory assistance
• Fulfill charge nurse responsibilities as required on night shifts
• Float to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatient holding as needed
• Participate in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignments; may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records (required)
• Demonstrated ability to manage insulin and heparin drips
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Ability to work every other weekend, holidays, and be assigned to an Inclement Weather Team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
• Prior charge nurse experience
