Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department with up to 101 beds and patient ratios of 4:1 (medical) and up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
• Utilize Cerner for all clinical documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient information on unit boards throughout each visit
• Operate unit equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors in accordance with department protocols
• Deliver patient experience standards including AIDET communication, respectful behavior, and consistent patient updates throughout the visit
• Float to all sections within the Emergency Department as needed to meet departmental staffing needs
• Collaborate with techs, cardiac monitoring unit staff, triage personnel, and unit clerks across day and night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start date
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ annual visits)
• Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback; flexibility to work in all areas of the ED

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a high-volume emergency department exceeding 100,000 annual visits
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
• Experience working in a culturally diverse patient population and multilingual community
