Contract | Full-Time | 40 hours per week | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) | Onsite | Every other weekend required minimum
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to child and adolescent patients in a psychiatric setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient behavior and mental status, intervening as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient treatment goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 0–1 year of nursing experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights
- Availability to work every other weekend at minimum
Preferred Experience / Skills
- More than 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience, preferably with child and adolescent populations
- Availability to work every weekend or predominantly weekend shifts
