Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Deliver care to stroke patients in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Float within skillset to other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements
- Make up any sick calls within the same schedule period per contract requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Telemetry, PCU, or ICU setting
- Current ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Demonstrated telemetry and stroke care experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating across units within a comparable skillset
- Familiarity with progressive care or step-down unit workflows
