Key Responsibilities
- Perform invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures within a dedicated Cardiac Catheterization and/or EP Lab setting
- Circulate and/or scrub as applicable during cardiac cath and electrophysiology procedures
- Provide care to adult patients (18 and up) presenting with invasive cardiac diagnoses
- Participate in on-call, weekend, holiday, and emergency call rotations as required
- Float to alternate facility locations as needed, with ample advance notice provided for full shifts
- Adhere to facility dress code, documentation, and medication system protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years of specialty experience in Cardiac Cath Lab/EP
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and/or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification, or ARRT (CV) registration
- Current Florida state licensure or registration through CCI (CVT requires an Associate degree or higher)
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a multi-lab invasive cardiology environment
- Familiarity with Allscripts medication management system
- Comfort working in facilities that treat patients with infectious disease diagnoses, including those requiring enhanced isolation protocols
