Electrophysiology Technologist - Cath Lab/EP

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete EP studies independently, including running STIM protocols and performing calculations and electrogram measurements without assistance
• Set up and operate CARTO, ESI, and CRYO mapping and ablation systems
• Scrub all procedures performed in the EP lab, including complex ablation procedures (AF, VT, SVT) and CRT implants — not limited to implant or device cases only
• Float between the Cath Lab and EP Lab as needed, including to an alternate campus location with advance notice
• Circulate and/or scrub as applicable based on procedural and staffing needs
• Participate in weekend, on-call, holiday, and emergency call rotations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Electrophysiology/Cath Lab experience
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and/or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification through CCI, or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with cardiovascular specialty
• Current licensure or registration in the state of Florida through CCI (CVT candidates must hold an Associate degree or higher)
• Ability to perform complete EP studies independently with no assistance required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hands-on experience with complex ablation procedures including AF, VT, SVT, and CRT implants
• Proficiency with CARTO, ESI, and CRYO system setup and operation
• Experience scrubbing the full range of EP lab procedures beyond implant and device cases
