CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Travel Contract

Contract (Travel) | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures as the primary focus of this role
- Assist surgical team in a 5-OR surgical suite utilizing basic OR equipment including cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy equipment, and positioning equipment
- Operate within a 1:1 patient ratio environment alongside RN circulators and OR staff
- Document and support surgical workflows using Meditech EMR
- Fulfill rotating on-call requirements including a minimum of one night per week and one weekend per five-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Demonstrated ability to scrub open heart / cardiovascular (CVOR) procedures
- Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to fulfill rotating call schedule (minimum one night per week and one weekend per five-week schedule)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, neurosurgery, or thoracic surgery
- Flexible, compassionate, and team-oriented personality with a willing and adaptable attitude
