• Travel, Days shifts, 13-week assignment, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient physical therapy services to a hospital patient population.
• Perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, functional activity training, neuromuscular re-education, and self-care instruction.
• Conduct stroke evaluations and treatments in line with hospital protocols.
• Utilize hospital equipment such as ceiling lifts, Sara lifts, Bioness, and Diego during therapy sessions.
• Document patient care activities in the Meditech Expanse system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to hospital policies, including communication standards such as AIDET.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in hospital and inpatient rehab settings.
• Experience with stroke assessment and treatment.
• Ability to float to acute hospital environments as needed.
• Proper licensing and credentialing to practice therapy in Virginia.
• Compliance with hospital documentation and safety protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in neuro-rehabilitation and functional activity training.
• Familiarity with hospital equipment such as ceiling lifts and speech therapy tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
