Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Projected Start Date: 07/20/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to the surgical team during CVOR cases
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and preparation for cardiovascular procedures
- Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps in compliance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active NBSTSA certification (CST) required — NCCT certification is not accepted in lieu of NBSTSA
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Experience in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment
- Ability to work 4x10-hour day shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel surgical technologist experience
- Familiarity with a high-volume cardiovascular surgical program
