Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM with Call | Projected Start: August 3, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and monitor cardiac catheterization and/or electrophysiology (EP) procedures in an active, high-volume lab environment
- Operate and support GE and Philips X-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR equipment, and Merge Hemo documentation systems
- Assist with a broad range of procedures including diagnostic cath, PCI, Rotoblator, laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, and Penumbra in the Cath Lab
- Support EP procedures including EP studies, pacemakers, ICDs, ablations, Micra pacemakers, loop recorders, and laser lead extractions
- Maintain a 1:3 patient-to-staff ratio across 11 procedure rooms (5 Cath, 4 EP, 2 Hybrid OR)
- Float to prep and recovery areas as needed per unit floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Active RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in scrubbing and/or monitoring cath and/or EP procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced cardiac procedures such as TAVR, ECMO, MitraClip, Watchman, CTO, or laser lead extractions
- Familiarity with Merge Hemo and Meditech documentation platforms
- Experience working in a high-volume, multi-modality cardiac lab setting
