Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs — no block schedule offered | Weekends required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with a 1:1–2 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 14-bed unit
- Perform and interpret fetal monitoring throughout patient care
- Circulate as required within the Labor & Delivery setting
- Float to support Helping Hands in NICU and Postpartum as needed
- Document and manage patient care using Cerner and GE Centricity EMR systems
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Active Tennessee RN license or multistate (Compact) RN license required at time of submission
- BLS certification required at time of submission
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required at time of submission
- Fetal Monitoring certification and ACLS required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating to NICU or Postpartum settings
- Familiarity with Cerner and/or GE Centricity EMR platforms
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving unit schedules and staffing needs
