Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Travel | Every other weekend expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 (up to 5:1 when stretched)
• Perform neurological and spinal checks, C-collar placement, and TLSO brace management
• Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, lumbar drains, and feeding tube placement
• Administer blood transfusions and monitor patients requiring tracheostomy and patient lift equipment
• Document and manage patient care using Cerner EMR
• Float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure valid in North Carolina (or compact state eligibility)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Neuro and trauma care experience required — candidates without this experience will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong background in neuro and trauma care in a PCU or stepdown setting
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Familiarity with Skylift and patient lift equipment
• Team-oriented, patient-focused approach to care delivery
