Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular med/surg unit with a full patient ratio
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings for cardiovascular patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with care plans
- Float to other units within the facility in an RN capacity as needed, assuming a full patient assignment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must pass facility EKG competency test prior to start
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with a focus on cardiovascular nursing
- Ability to float to any unit in an RN capacity and manage a full patient ratio
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a cardiovascular-focused facility or dedicated cardiovascular med/surg unit
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiovascular patient populations
