Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: August 25, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to postpartum couplets with a ratio of 3–4 couplets per RN
- Perform point-of-care glucose monitoring and hypertension assessment and management
- Support breastfeeding education and assistance for postpartum patients
- Manage postpartum hemorrhage and other high-risk postpartum complications
- Assist with circumcision procedures as needed on the unit
- Adhere to established standards of behavior and unit guidelines throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care postpartum hospital experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- High-risk postpartum experience
- Level 2 Nursery experience
- Familiarity with Meditech or CPN electronic medical record systems
