Interventional Radiology Technologist – Special Procedures
Location
San Antonio, TX
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology and special procedures in a clinical setting
- Operate fluoroscopic and imaging equipment to assist physicians during IR procedures
- Prepare and position patients for procedures while ensuring safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to radiation safety protocols
- Collaborate with the IR team to support efficient workflow and quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required
- State licensure in Texas required (or eligibility)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume IR or special procedures environment
- Familiarity with a variety of IR equipment and imaging modalities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
