Contract (13 or 26 weeks available) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, including patients with higher oxygen demands, dialysis needs, atrial fibrillation, and post-cardiac catheterization recovery
• Manage and monitor telemetry, including step-down patients from ICU (no ventilator or pressor support required)
• Administer and monitor drips including heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, and sotalol initiation
• Float to other like units as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis (every other weekend, subject to change based on unit need)
• Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials prior to contract start

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee (TN) Registered Nurse license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry or similar unit
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for step-down or progressive care patients transitioning from ICU settings
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac drip management
• First-time travelers will be considered based on relevant clinical experience
