Key Responsibilities

• Float across a variety of critical care units based on staffing needs and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
• Deliver high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients during night shift hours
• Manage patients on mechanical ventilators and interpret telemetry monitoring
• Perform IV starts and other advanced clinical skills as required by unit needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity in accordance with float pool policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Active RN license – valid compact or state license required at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system required
• Demonstrated competency in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience floating across multiple ICU settings or high-acuity critical care environments
