Travel RN – Inpatient Rehabilitation (Night Shift / 13 Weeks)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with a patient ratio of 5:1 (max 6:1)
• Perform patient transfers utilizing appropriate transfer equipment including Hoyer lifts and sliding boards
• Conduct bladder scans, dressing changes, EKG monitoring, and medication administration
• Accurately document rehabilitation scoring and maintain EMR records using Meditech and Pyxis
• Participate in bedside report/handoff, hourly rounding, and ensure bed alarm activation per unit policy
• Float as needed to Med-Surge, Telemetry, Renal, Urology, Orthopedic, and Overflow units (ICU excluded)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated transfer training competency
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience
• Experience with rehabilitation scoring documentation
• Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to take initiative independently
