EP Tech – Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology

Contract (13 or 26 Weeks) | Days, 4x10 Hours (7:00–17:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with EP and diagnostic/interventional cardiac cath procedures including STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, and Structural Heart cases (PFO, TAVR, Mitral Clip)
- Support Interventional Radiology procedures including lines, drains, embolizations, upper/lower extremity interventions, fistulas, visceral angio/intervention, and stroke thrombectomy
- Assist with neurointervention and CRM device implant procedures
- Participate in on-call coverage from 6:00–8:00 PM as needed if the team has concluded the day shift; late-stay coverage until cases are completed may be required
- Work some Saturday shifts as part of the standard 4-shift weekly schedule (not as an additional shift)
- Float to like units within the facility or affiliate hospitals as needed to meet operational needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Active BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Valid state license for Alaska (pending license submissions accepted; processing typically takes 10–12 weeks)
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with CTO, peripheral interventions, and venous access procedures
- Rhythm interpretation skills and familiarity with temporary LVAD support
- Proficiency with Philips X-Ray systems, McKesson (Cath Lab), and MacLab/Cardio Lab (EP)
- Experience with a variety of atherectomy and thrombectomy devices
