Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 12-Hour Shifts) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Coverage Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit during 12-hour night shifts
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately within the facility's EMR system (Altera Sunrise)
- Participate in facility orientation program prior to independent unit assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Must be willing to float to other units as required
- Must be available for holiday shifts unless approved time off is on record
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience with Cerner or similar EMR platforms (Altera Sunrise is noted to be very similar to Cerner)
