Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Perform IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting procedures
- Utilize bedside cardiac monitoring, defibrillator, Hamilton Vent, and other unit equipment
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR (transitioning to Meditech Expanse)
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members across day, mid, and night shifts
- Float to a secondary freestanding emergency department location as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- NIHSS certification
- CPI certification
- Minimum 1 year of emergency room nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Strong teamwork orientation and patient experience focus
