Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Perform procedures including IV starts, blood draws, EKGs, and resuscitation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, technicians, and unit secretaries on night shift
- Document patient assessments and care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Work 4 weekend shifts per month as part of the standard schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of acute Emergency Room experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
- Active, personable demeanor with ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
