Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines within a large acute care hospital setting
• Operate and manage a variety of ventilators and respiratory equipment including adult vents, infant/pediatric vents, transport vents, non-invasive devices, and high-flow oxygen devices
• Document patient care and respiratory interventions accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to all critical care units and general floor areas as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
• Maintain patient ratios and deliver high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Participate in a rotating weekend schedule, including a minimum of four weekend shifts per six-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — CRTs will not be considered
• Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Experience in NICU or pediatric respiratory care settings
