Columbus, OH | Inpatient / Outpatient
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (8:00–4:30 or 8:30–5:00) | Optional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks | 1 evening shift and 1 Saturday per month | No on-call
Key Responsibilities
- Perform approximately 33 PET/CT scans per day across 2 dedicated PET/CT scanners, with a focus on oncology cases
- Conduct whole-body FDG, Brain, Cardiac, and Neuroendocrine imaging studies
- Perform IV starts and operate PACS in support of daily imaging workflows
- Apply general Nuclear Medicine protocols alongside PET/CT procedures
- Maintain compliance with credentialing requirements, including Ohio state fingerprinting, in a timely manner upon contract signing
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
- Valid Ohio State Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated experience in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine
- Proficiency with IV starts and PACS
- Inpatient and outpatient experience required
- 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (no coworker references accepted)
- Local candidates are welcome
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-volume PET/CT environments
- Familiarity with oncology imaging protocols including Neuroendocrine and Cardiac studies
- First-time travelers are encouraged to apply
