Contract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8s, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 15–20 mammography exams per day within a dedicated Breast Center
- Conduct screening and diagnostic mammograms as the primary scope of practice
- Operate mammography equipment in accordance with facility protocols and imaging standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting, with preference for Epic
- Wear a radiation badge at all times during shift — badge must be provided by the staffing agency prior to start
- Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (M) certification required
- South Carolina state license (SCRQSA) required — must be active and in hand prior to start date; pending license not accepted
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required; first-time travelers accepted
- Radiation badge must be supplied by the staffing agency — facility does not provide badges to travelers
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered under separate terms
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Hologic or Siemens mammography equipment
- Experience performing stereotactic biopsy procedures
- Experience with breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided biopsies
