Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Weekdays | CV call and holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in cardiovascular OR cases including heart/lung transplant, valve replacement, and aortic dissection procedures
• Receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation
• Operate and assist with specialized surgical equipment including the DaVinci XI robotic system
• Participate in CV call coverage — approximately 90–120 hours of call per 6-week schedule
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required by facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Indiana or Compact); license must be in hand prior to start date
• BCLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted with Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• Must have demonstrated experience in heart/lung transplant, valve replacement, aortic dissection, and cannulation preparation
• Strong competency scores (3s and 4s) in CV, PV, Heart, and Lung Transplant required
• Circulator skillset required; scrub experience is not required for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Well-rounded OR/perioperative background with proficiency across multiple service lines
• Experience in a high-volume surgical environment (24 OR rooms, average daily census of 70–80)
• Familiarity with DaVinci XI robotic surgical platform
