Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services primarily within Labor & Delivery, with rotation across NICU, PICU, and Pediatrics based on facility need
• Adapt to floating assignments across NICU, PICU, and Peds units; floating to an affiliate hospital location may also be required
• Deliver age-appropriate respiratory care in a high-acuity pediatric and neonatal environment
• Maintain compliance with all unit-specific certification and competency requirements, including ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, and NRP
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana State Respiratory Therapy License required (temporary license accepted if permanent license application has been submitted)
• NBRC RRT certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NRP required (may be obtained upon offer if not already held)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PICU; Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years required
• L&D experience required; NICU or PICU experience required
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• First-time travelers accepted
• Candidate must provide written confirmation of awareness and comfort with the every-other-weekend requirement prior to submission
• Local Allied travelers are accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Experience in a Level 1 adult facility may be considered in lieu of Children's Hospital experience
• Experience floating across multiple pediatric subspecialty units (NICU, PICU, Peds)
