Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours/Week | Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level care, including those with complex or unstable conditions
• Float within the hospital system as required to support staffing needs across units
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Adhere to all facility compliance, credentialing, and onboarding requirements, including Ohio fingerprinting, within required timelines

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of PCU/Stepdown or Intermediate Care nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• Experience with patient populations requiring telemetry monitoring or intermediate-level interventions
• Strong communication and adaptability skills suited for a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
