Contract | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting across assigned shifts
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Administer and manage medications safely, with competency verified via safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Maintain accurate documentation and log hours worked through the designated time-tracking platform
• Participate in required orientation modules and annual hands-on competency requirements as applicable
• Obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (Charge RN references accepted; co-worker references not accepted)
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation; up to two attempts permitted
• Locals are welcome and may be submitted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience concentrated within a single facility or unit preferred
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Prior travel nursing experience within a large health system environment
