Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Mid Shift (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM) | Holidays as needed | No weekend requirements | No call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a fast-paced Operating Room environment
- Support and assist with orthopedic, general, and robotic surgical procedures including da Vinci Robotic Surgery
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative process
- Adhere to all facility protocols, including a required 30-minute lunch break per shift
- Participate in orientation as scheduled upon start
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Current CPR Certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
- Experience with orthopedic, general, and robotic (da Vinci) surgical procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or acute care surgical setting
- Familiarity with multiple surgical specialties beyond orthopedic and general surgery
- Strong ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic OR environment
