Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular med/surg unit with a full patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms for cardiovascular patients
• Float to other units within the facility in an RN capacity, assuming a full patient ratio as needed
• Participate in orientation scheduled every Monday (16 non-billable orientation hours)
• Adhere to holiday and weekend rotation requirements as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license
• BLS certification required
• EKG test must be passed at 80% or higher prior to submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; at least 1 prior travel contract required
• New graduates are not eligible for this position
• Strong cardiovascular nursing background required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a cardiovascular or telemetry-focused care setting
• Comfort with floating to various units and adapting to different patient populations
• Familiarity with cardiovascular med/surg patient care and monitoring
