Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Oncology unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments in accordance with ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification standards
- Care for patients undergoing Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and CAR-T therapy
- Float between units and, as needed, to sister facilities based on skill set and staffing needs
- Document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Must have a personal vehicle available for this assignment
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant patients
- Experience with CAR-T therapy patients
- Familiarity with Epic EMR charting system
