Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | On-Site | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Oncology unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments in accordance with facility protocols; ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required
- Float between units and, as needed, to sister facilities based on skill set and staffing needs
- Participate in block scheduling, including working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Must have a personal vehicle available for use during this assignment
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for Autologous Stem Cell Transplant patients
- Experience with CAR-T therapy patients
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
