Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Evening Shift (3x12 Hours, 15:00–03:00) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting with expected ratios of 1:1 and 1:3 for couplets
- Manage and care for High Risk OB patients as a core component of the role
- Float to Postpartum and High Risk Antepartum units based on staffing needs
- Participate in on-call requirements; if cancelled, candidate will be placed on call
- Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
- Float to sister facilities within the health system as needed based on skill set and unit demands
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Must have a personal vehicle available for this assignment
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (locals considered at a different rate)
- Background must be clear; facility does not accept Nursys or background hits
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in High Risk Antepartum or Postpartum settings
- Familiarity with floating between multiple units and adapting quickly to varied patient populations
- Experience working in a large acute care hospital environment
