Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care Medical/Telemetry setting with a 1:6 patient ratio
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data as part of routine patient assessment
- Float within scope to other units at a lower level of care to meet critical staffing needs as required
- Fulfill on-call and holiday coverage requirements per contract terms
- Work weekends as needed based on unit scheduling demands
- Pass required Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Medication tests on the first day of orientation
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (pending license accepted; must be obtained prior to start date)
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience; 2 years preferred and reviewed on a case-by-case basis
- Must be able to pass a Cardiac Dysrhythmia test and Medication test on the first day of orientation — one attempt allowed
- Must be able to comply with facility fit testing requirements, which may include shaving
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent experience with EPIC electronic health records system
- Prior experience in a telemetry or LTAC environment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
