Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (rotating between 0700–1730 and 0930–2000); shift end times may vary based on procedure completion. On-call required: one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per 7-week rotation, plus one call shift and one evening shift per week. Call requirements may change based on staffing needs. Holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and monitor roles in coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures across 4–5 active labs per day
• Support a daily caseload of approximately 20–25 cases with 2–3 cardiovascular technologists per lab
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage including weekend and evening call shifts
• Utilize EPIC for clinical documentation and charting
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols; radiation badge must be supplied by the staffing agency prior to start
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November) as directed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ARRT or RCIS certification required (registered or in process)
• South Carolina SCRQSA license required (candidates with a pending license may be considered with proof of application; clearance to work will not be granted until license is active)
• Proficiency in coronary diagnostic and interventional scrub and monitor techniques
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-volume Cath Lab environments
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Ability to adapt to rotating shift schedules while maintaining procedural proficiency
