Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room environment during night shift hours
• Perform scrub duties as required during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and transplant surgical procedures
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with surgical teams in a high-acuity, Level I Trauma facility setting
• Maintain patient safety and quality standards throughout perioperative care

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant settings
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR-specific experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Scrub experience required
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Locals are accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple OR specialties including general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environments
• Flexibility with rotating weekend scheduling
