EP Technologist (Electrophysiology Lab)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday with rotating Saturday call (8:00 AM–1:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with electrophysiology procedures, arteriograms, and other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique
• Prepare examination areas and position patients appropriately for procedures
• Operate complex radiology and EP lab equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines
• Pass materials and take exposures as directed by the supervising physician
• Provide patient care appropriate to the ages of the patients served across a department performing 5–10 procedures per day

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• Must be able to pass a drug screen; facility maintains a Drug-Free Campus policy
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the standard contract rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an electrophysiology or cath lab setting
• Familiarity with EP procedures and working alongside electrophysiologists
• Comfort working in a fast-paced procedural environment with rotating call responsibilities
