Contract | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 13–18 Week Assignments Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting, with potential to float to other units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and manage patients, including those on ventilators as needed
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with facility protocols
• Rotate holiday coverage, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate, achieving an acceptable score within two attempts

Required Qualifications

• Active Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification required — must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required; co-worker references will not be accepted
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients on ventilators
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation
• Experience in a high-acuity or large academic medical center environment
