Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: December 14, 2026 | Expected 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care on a 20-bed Surgical Specialty Unit with a 4:1 patient ratio (5:1 with a patient care tech)
• Perform and manage procedures including ostomy care and irrigation, NGT placement and management, Foley catheter placement and maintenance, central line management, JP drains, wound management, IV starts, and blood administration
• Administer and monitor nutritional supplementation including TPN and G/J tube management
• Operate unit equipment including Alaris IV Pumps, CADD epidural, Alaris PCA, Pyxis Medication Dispensing, telemetry, EKG, bladder scanner, wound vacs, capnostream machines, and SCD pumps
• Document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including every 3rd weekend and two Mondays and Fridays per 4-week scheduling period; float to like medical/surgical/telemetry units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Understanding of post-operative care
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech documentation system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-paced surgical specialty or medical-surgical unit
• Familiarity with bariatric, colorectal, or robotic surgery patient populations
• Prior experience with telemetry monitoring and advanced wound care
